I can't believe that it's almost been seven years that I've owned this wonderful piece of machinery!
I've only encountered one major $1,000+ repair just recently but don't anticipate anymore major problems. . .however, does anyone know of any possible "upcoming" issues I may see with the car? To be more precise the car is approaching 99,000 miles and just had most of the front end components replaced (bushings, etc.) Through past experience, when they hit the magical 100K mark, interesting new issues can arise. . .

Most any MB that has seen even reasonable care and adequate oil changes is not even broken in real good at 100,000 miles.

It's impossible to predict failures at a particular mileage. Maintain your beauty properly and drive your money out of it.

Happy New Year,

I can speak only to the drivetrain...it's essentially the same as that in my '92 500E. I'd have someone experienced take a good look at your monobelt tensioner; they die eventually but are reasonably cheap to replace. Distributor caps ever done? Brake fluid & coolant changes? Lastly, I'd post & inquire if anyone has an easy way to check your timing chain guide rails?

Do your oil changes, stay on the maintenance, and it'll go as long as gas is available. Nice car, BTW.
