2000 E320 bogus check engine light - O2
My wife's Y2K E320's check engine light comes on after a rain. I scan it, and it's showing the codes for bad O2 sensor, rear-right side. I've recently replaced BOTH right-side O2 sensors (the problem happened before I replaced them too).
I've read somewhere (here?) that something in the engine compartment leaks rainwater, results in a short, and causes the O2 sensor code to trigger. I'm still new to the under-hood region of this car. Can anyone point me to the location that needs to feel the touch of my Amazing Caulk Gun? [dorian] | eclass210.com |
