My 4matic fault lamp just came on, but car('87 Euro 300D)seems to be normal.
I checked the resistances of the front wheel speed sensors, and the transmission speed sensor, and got unequal readings. Does anyone know MB's specifications for the sensors' coil resistances and permissible tolerances? Thanks a lot, Happy New Year

I don't know the resistance values off hand, but anything could cause this light to come on. Any switch (brake lamp ect...) or sensor could cause this. I would check the codes and go from there.
