w123 coupe central locking problem HELP!!
 

Anyone have any info on what might be the fault with the vacume central locking on my 230CE Coupe? Ive had door panels off and checked for leaks but doors and boot still wont open or close from the key!!!

do you have vacuum on the input at the master switch? On diesels its a solid yellow line, I have yet to see a 230 123 so Im only assuming its the same. Check in the engine bay first, you might have something else robbing your vacuum. Does your climate control work only on defrost (on second thought, that car probably only has manual controls, right?)

Check also for leaks on the solid light blue line. This goes to both seats to lock the backs in place when the doors are closed. I had a major leak on one of mine.

for future note, only pull the door panels off when you've isolated it to a certain door, it saves time ;)

[i dont have any vacumm at all to open doors,boot and petrol.Do you think there is a leak or a faulty vacumm pump(?)

Probably a leak. I didn't think any 123's had seperate (electric) pumps. Your gas model should just be using manifold vacuum.
