1994 E320 transmission slips when cold

My wifes car just started slipping when cold from a stop. It will catch after the engine revs up a little and go. The fluid is clean, full and it has always been serviced, the car has 114000 miles. I thought I would pull the pan and look this weekend, are there any common problems?

Thanks,

Dan

When was the last time the fluid/filter were changed including draining the torque converter?

Sound like the B2 servo seal is leaking when cold

Sorry it took so long to get back to you, I have been traveling and these things always happen when I am out of town! Jim, the fluid and filter were done at the 90K service so it has 24K on it but looks perfect, I will look in the pan first as it is easy. C32AMG, will this servo leaking cause this cavitaion problem? It sounds like the pump is sucking air somewhere when cold, I was going to check the seal between the filter and valve body?

Dan
