harder start?

This is not an alarming question.... but I have seen numerous "hard start" threads...

here's my situation....and it's consistent with a cold engine, warm , or hot..

I have to hold my key an extra second or so to get a start.....

This is for the 1989 300ce.... the 300e seems like an extra half second...

I am comparing this to other cars I have owned..that just seem to fire up.

no biggie...just looking for thoughts...
