Help changing headlamp on E320 Wagon

I've looked at other threads on thi ssubject that detail how to remove the back cover of the headlamp assy and had no problem there
What has me puzzled is once I get the cover off I can't access the bulb ( or even see it because its mounted in a black plastic assembly that has no obvious way to open it. This assy is connected to the rear of the reflector with nuts on studs that have threadlock so I assume thats not the way to get at it
I'd appreciate any help
Thanks in Advance Box

The plastic part where all bulbs are mounted is attached to the lens via a snap lock at the bottom. You just have to click it open and it will unlock, slide it gently to the outside and it will unhook from the top.

There are a couple of things that could had happen: the piece the unlocks the bottom is very prone to be broken (for example by the spare wheel on that side). If this happended, it would not be clear the way it unlocks, and you will have to use a screwdriver to pry it open.

The other problem is that dirty and grime will "glue" the bulbs base to the lens. You have to be careful, because if you try to open it by force, the lens will brake easily. Use WD-40 or something similiar to loose the parts.

still confused

I Might not have been specific enough as the reply sounds like its referencing rear lights
This is the right front headlamp I can remove the rear cover and see the bulb for the high beam. The 55 watt lamp for the headlamp however is enclosed in a black assembly thats fastened to the reflector assembly. I'm lost as to how to open or remove thsi black assembly to get to the bulb
Again its a 98 E320
Thanks again
