Hello All - Suspension question?
 

Hi there,

I have a 1999 CLK320. I am looking to replace the shocks... are there actual shocks front and back??? I am looking for a softer ride(its not a sport package anyways) but I wanted some input as to what (brand)shocks should I buy for a nice soft ride.

I was going to suggest Bilstein Comfort but it seems that Bilstein only offers 2 applictions: Hevay Duty and Sport. What you can do is click on the "FastLane" icon on the top of the page to see the parts catalog. Call Phil 1-888-333-4642 and see what he recommends. He carries the top brands(Bilstein, Koni, etc...) and can suggest something to suit your needs.

The rears are shocks and very straight forward to replace.

The fronts are struts and are a little more work to replace. :)
