Driving W126 loaner
I am driving an 89 W126 while my car is getting the water pump. I loved the look of this car b4 and now that I am looking at it and drove it, like it more. While too big for my day to day taste (prefer my W124 ) , it looks great. THe drive? It feels more solid? I guess that's the definition maybe. It is not the best handling in the condition its in, but I attest that to the condition this loaner is in... outside its immaculate, inside its rough, but huge.....
Just thought I'd share my one day test drive , lol

The 126 is the only Mercedes I've ever driven, so I can attest to its solidness compared to other cars. I'm especially impressed how solid the doors feel, and none of them have sagged after 20 years.
