Will a 1997 e320 alternator fit in my 1994 e320?

I was just wondering if a bosch alternator out of a 1997 e320 is a direct replacement for the bosch alternator in my 1994 e320 sedan. ??? :)

I think the amperage is the only differance. The mounting and the pulley are the same.
