Hello,
Yesterday I was adjusting my new Bosch euro lights when I found it extremely hard to twist the middle adjustment knob for the low beams. It seems like the beam should be much higher, but the knob won't let me aim higher. This is only for the drivers side. The passenger light's adjustment knob works fine and I can adjust it much higher than the drivers side. Does anyone know what's wrong or had this problem before? Thanks, Scott

Some of the adjustment knobs are easy to turn and some can be very hard. If you take a little mirror and flash light you should be able to have a look inside the top of the light unit to figure out whether the mechanism is still in good order. The knob is put on a bolt which runs through a round plastic mutter that is placed inside a plastic holder attached to the reflector.
If the parts of this jointed adjustment are not broken, you should be able to get the same beam height as with the other unit.

In the (euro) head light unit is a vacuum system which makes it possible to adjust the height of the beams from the drivers seat when the car is (heavily loaded). If this system is not connected to the vacuum hose and/or system properly the reflector will automatically be adjusted to a absolute minimum. Have a look at that as well...

greetingz & good luck,
