Okay, now I'm starting to feel like a dick. What started out as little bit of clowning around with somebody has just gotten, well sad. This poor person just no clue. I mean three threads? Is that really necessary? And come on, having your insurance pick up the tab for washing the motor? This person has probably totally pissed off the dealer. Can you really see anybody who knows the difference between a screwdriver and a chisel suggesting to remove the heads to see what's going on? You know there's bet going on down at that shop with the mechanics.

will car insurance help pay for mechanical promblems caused by engine getting wet

Please help- $3500 because no compression

Please help- washed motor- now car has major problems

Maybe that’s what’s wrong with it... it's missing the flux gate capacitor.

Yes, we will need to suffer through novice posting behaviors, but I really like having a useful discussion board. One where you can post at the end of thread and not feel like it's going to get lost under the piles of new threads of people needing to be told to remove the water from thier spark plug holes. A better question is what the hell are you doing washing your engine anyway?

On the other side of the coin... every spring the "AC Broke! " threads come back like the Swallows returning to Capistrano. and every fall the "Help NO HEAT " Threads... like the Geese flying south from Canada... help me mark the passing of the seasons
