If you can post your results... there are many people here who will be able to interpret them for you.
Please post as much info as possible like the limits and results on all gases tested. Also post any other symptoms such as change in gas mileage, rough starts, running...

Is this car in original configuration? Does it have a catalyst? O2 sensor?
Was the test just run at idle (tickover)? Did you fully warm up the engine and leave it idling before the test, and NOT SHUT IT OFF? How long did you wait? Your HC (hydrocarbons) and CO (carbon monoxide) are very high for a lambda equipped (O2 sensor) engine - even one with no catalyst. Did your brother-in-law offer any suggestions as to what the problem is? What were the results for previous tests? What is "m.o.t."? Duke |

All 190E's have CO adjustment!
With tha air filter removed you will see an adjustment "tower" between the fuel distributor & the air flow plate. Pushing the 3 MM adjusting screw down & turning the screw anti-clockwise will lean out the fuel mixture! Good luck!
