126 heater fan
Just bought my wife a 1987 300sdl but there is no heater or ac fan. I have also had trouble finding a shop manual , so it is difficult for me to troubleshoot or find the procedure for r&r of fan motor (or location of it) if in fact that is the problem. any help or suggestions?

Finding the W126 AC/heater blower is almost as easy as using the search feature of this forum (hint) The procedure is outlined in the archives.
You can get a copy of the MB factory shop manual on CD through the FastLane link at the top of this page or directly from MB. Paper copies are sometimes available eBay but there are several volumes that cover all the systems in the car. Getting to the blower in a W126 is about as easy as it gets in an MB. Almost as easy as the AC blower in a W108/9 without the hassle of the separate and difficult-to-get-to heater blower in a W108/9. Sixto 95 S420 87 300SDL |
