CLK Xenon Light
I have a Mercedez CLK with its original lights, but I bought the xenon to change them. I leave here in Miami and went to a mech, but he was not able to install them. Can you please provide me with a Mechanic here in Miami, that you know is able to install the xenon to my car.

Did you buy a xenon kit? or is it an OEM xenon set?
I also live in miami, and I installed Xenon in my 300E, it was not hard at all. I also installed Xenon in my Monte Carlo (headlights and foglights). I can install it for you, just PM me. |
sounds to me like he bought OEM xenon headlights. Hes gonna have to deal with the lamp-out problem as well as having to modify the harness.

H.I.D. (say H, I, D. im not hiding anything from you!)
Litronic (Bosch) Xenon (Hella) Xenarc (Osram) Just a few of the names for filament-less automotive forward lighting systems. :D |
I am talking about Xenon/H.I.D. I had them installed in my 300E, and it was a pain to install, but the results were rewarding. The install in my Monte Carlo was also a pain, but it was not that bad. The bulbs and ballasts are what I am referring to, not the junky "xenon" blue coated bulbs. In my 300E, I used Bosch Gen. 3 ballasts and philips D2R #85122 4100K bulbs
Here are the xenon ballasts I have in my Monte Carlo, http://memimage.cardomain.net/member...35_22_full.jpg they are OEM Denso ballasts (Lexus), and philips # 85126 D2R 4100k bulbs. Here is a link of them "sparking up": Spark up video link |
