W140 Ac Recharge Ports
 

On my friend's W140 I could not locate the second AC recharge port,could only find one,right above the front bumper,behind the grille,where is the second one located?

The one you describe sounds like the high pressure side. The low pressure side is inside, underneath the hood. In my case it's S.E. of the air cleaner assembly. If you have cooling, the low pressure side is going to be cold to the touch once it's been running awhile.

Hook up the hoses for a recharge incorrectly and that can is gonna blow up on you. Be careful.

Lift off the cover, its right on the wheel housing. It is R 134. Has the evap. been replaced, most likely source of leak!
