Battery draining

After 2 to 3 days my battery is dead (~2.5 vDC). After jumping it, the alternator charges the battery fine (~14 vDC). I connected a meter to the battery and discovered ~0.8a current draw on the battery, but then decays to nothing. After I touch the cable back to the battery, the current draw returns.
Sunroof switch operate intermittently.
Trunk light does not work...no voltage to terminals and no blown fuses.

I'm still suffering with mine :( . I'm waiting for my new alternator to arrive soon. I have a new Optima red top battery. I wasn't able to find a problem from the fuse box. I'm real stumped with this one. I will post when I do figure it out.

Use a VOM in the current setting (amps), remove each fuse in sequence and measure the current flow.

My mechanic did some testing like that and wasn't able to find a problem. I'm going to remove my battery and charge it and let it sit for a couple of days and see if it's holding a charge. My new alternator is on its way, but got held up at customs, so looks like I should receive it this coming Tuesday.
