1991 300SL - Seats, mirrors, steering wheel adjustment. isn't

Posted on the SL forum, but recd no response. Help?

Just got this car a few weeks ago. Everything is great. So great, I bought a Mosselman twin turbo kit for it. But back to the problem.

We went on a long drive with the top down a couple of weeks ago. Before the ride, I set the seats, the steering wheel, and the mirrors for my wife, my son, and I. All three memories worked, and everything adjusted as needed.

While driving, I adjusted my setting a bit more, and the memory took. I tested it by adjusting for my wife, and then back to my settings. It all worked.

Later, I fiddled some more because I noticed the right side view mirror was adjusted all the way to the outside. It would not adjust back. Nor would the seats, nor would the steering wheel.

I checked the fuse, and it is OK. Is there a master relay for these three items somewhere that I can check? Anybody familiar with the electrical part of these three systems? They seem to run off the same fuse, a small one at that. I am guessing that there is a relay somewhere and that it lost its power somehow.

A lot of times people look at those strip fuses and think they're O.K. when they're not.
the strip fuses don't just blow, then burn and corrode at the ends.
Try turning the fuse 90 degrees and trying it again. Many times I get vehicles with those fuses and they look fine, but I remove them and find the contact points burned or corroded.
