how many quarts of oil should i put in my m103 engine when i change the oil?

I think capacity with a filter changes is around 6.3 quarts. When I change the oil I put in 6 quarts. This is for a 86 300E.

I put 6.5 in my '88 300E after draining oil AND filter. This brings it exactly to the full mark.

. . . I put 6 US quarts in my 91 300CE M103 after a filter and sump drain ( every 3K kms Larry ! )as I like to run it about the mid way mark on the dip stick, checked cold...
