97 C230 air conditioning
 

The A/C in my C230 seems to have gone kaput.

The blower motor blows OK > just doesn't blow cold.

Is there a check-glass /visual indicator to ascertain if I have enough refrigerant? Where is it located.

System had been functioning just fine > however after my daughter assinated Bambi [deer strike] > the shop here in Herndon did a less than sterling job of repairing the car > tranny hoses were less than finger tight > tranny fluid loss... left off hardware on some body panels.. they had to disconnect the AC system to repair the car and I'm htinking they did not tighten up the system when they put it back together...
