air conditioner not working

hi, new benz owner. car running with good air conditioning. stopped at store; came out and started car. ac now does not work, compressor doesn't run , doesn't blow air. no idea. relay switch? in-line fuse? help. thanks ; stickman

For starters, you're going to have to tell people what model of MB and the year of the car.

If the blower suddenly stopped working it sounds like a blown or cracked strip fuse. The strip fuse is separate from the fuse box in a small black plastic compartment (approx. 1" wide x 2" long) with a hinged lid and a heavy gauge wire on each end. Open the lid to check the condition of the strip fuse ... look for a hairline crack across the center. To replace simply loosen the 2 Philips head screws, slide the old pieces out and the new fuse in ... the fuse has slotted ends.
