I need to replace all 4 of my vents, or repair a few of them and need to know how to remove them. I know the center vents have a screw inside the glovbox but is that the only one holding the vent in and also what about the driver and passenger side vents? Kinda weird that all my vents are broken, my passenger side vent has all the front louvers broken out, the center vent wheel fell inside and keeps the vents from free motion side to side and my drivers vent doesnt adjust side to side either. Also what is the part numbers for the vents. Thanks for your help.

pezzy,
One screw in the side of the center vents (as you said), one bolt in the center vent and a lot of clamps (2 in the center vents and 4 at in each side vent). In the center vent is a bolt connected to the valve opening and closing the air-ducts. If you look closely over the handle you can see it; untighten this one as well. If you look in the vents, you can see the clamps; these need to be pulled up (or down concerning the clamps in top of the vents) simultaneously and the vent can be pulled out. greetingz & good luck, |
