Aux fan repair
1994 E320 coupe. Replaced a non-working auxiliary fan. Has anyone ever repaired one? With new ones getting costly it would be worthwhile to repair/rebuild a non-functioning motor. Are there shops that rebuild these? Or is a diy project?

You can rebuild the aux fan. I recently had the aux fan rebuilt for $150 CAD on a 1984 190D 2.2 Look in the Yellow Pages for "Automobile Electric Service" and you will find rebuilders. I would choose a shop with lots of experience and one that does auto, diesel, farm, construction, and marine. I am not in your area but you can see the shop I used to get an idea of what these kinds of shops can do for you. www.kpautoelectric.com
