A/C vents

Hi Forum
We just bought an 84 300 D and the A/C blows good on the drivers vent, but only very lightly on the 3 passanger vents ( WHICH IS MY SIDE) Can anyone tell us where the blockage may be or what the blockage might be?
Thanks.......Rose

The dominant vent is the center ducts. Personally when I'm driving they ARE the drivers vent. They often go away due to loss out the defrost vent. Is there air coming from the defrost vents?

Last week we did a 126 that was lucky and only needed the defrost and two recirc door elements. Lucky cause the center vent element is not so easy.

The vent to the extreme right is on a long tube and might be open inside the dash.

Thank you for your reply
I understand that because we have full flow thru the defrost, that we have a control prob.
What do I have to do to correct this prob.
Thanks again

Make the defrost door go closed and make the center duct door go open. The vacuum elements (servos, whatever) resond to vacuum distributed by the switch overvalves, commanded by the push button controller.

Hint: the system defaults to the defrost position for safety.
