Mass Air Flow Sensor - Help? The mass air flow sensor on my 99 E320 has failed @ 29K. Should this be considered part of the emissions and under warranty?

You can certainly try to get your dealer to "goodwill" the repair, although, there was no such deal for me with my ML nor my 300E...

...29K is low enough miles to win your case though...

The US government SPELLS out what is covered under the 8yr/80K emission warranty. YOU should have a booklet with that info!

when i was at mercedes a couple of years ago it was 7/70, did they go up??
i changed several mass airflow sensors under the 7/70 emissions warranty

Depends on YEAR! From 1996 the warranty was 8/80 but around 2001 changed to 7/70
