New England stone chip strikes again! Any do's or don'ts on glass replacement? Is MB Dealer best for the job or leave it to the glass (sigh) "experts"?

Only larger Benz dealers do there own glass. But even if they sublet the work, you have a better chance of not having any warranty problems if you have the dealer do the job!

If you have the rain sensor, be sure to use MB glass that comes with the rain sensor. There are some aftermarket brands that have kit for the rain sensor. These are usually more trouble than they are worth. You may lose proper function of the rain sensor.
