W123 280e

Dear merc expert,

I'm a new member and
I just bought a W123 280E locally assembled in indonesia dated 1986
it had run 225000 km but the engine still run flawlessly, smooth, and fast. The body is almost rust free and everything apparently work normal.
I dont have any experience in maintaining mercedes previously, therefore I have some questions to you, merc expert..
first, on idle position why i feel vibration from the engine? is it normal or is there something wrong?
second, i thought the engine temperature of my car is too low, cos' almost under 80, unless when i stuck in traffic jam, it start to move above 80 but only a little...and when I drove it more than 1 hour the engine temperature almost never reach 80.
third, I smell gasoline fume from the exhaust, and there's noise from lower side of my car which start to roar on 1500 - 2000 rpm, and then gone on higher rpm...is it from the exhaust system?
last, i found its difficult to start the hot engine, the gas pedal has to be pushed to get it ignited, is it normal?
Thanks in advance......

cheers
abon
