Replacing the Driveshaft support bearing

We recently purchased a '82 300D turbo and need to replace the driveshaft support bearing. I've removed the 3 rear flex disc bolts to remove the ds; do I just pry between the ds and flex disc or is there more to remove?

Thanks!

You will need to unbolt the disc behind the tranny as well as the one in front of the diff, undo the big nut on the middle of the driveshaft and compress the driveshaft as much as possible ( you had better witness mark your two driveshaft halves in case they get separated) . Then unbolt the center support . Then stick a big screwdriver in between the flex disc and the flange and try to pop the discs out. If needed , you may have to use a hammer and punch to separate the metal fittings on the flexdiscs from the drive flanges.

Thank you very much rs899! I will try that.
