w124 jack points?

i know where the rubber grommets are to jack the car up, but once up, where are the best places to put jackstands? i dont trust just a jack holding the car up from one place. thnx

The jack pads are where I put the jackstands. They are placed on a structural part of the car's frame, and that's where most shop lifts would lift the car. Obviously, get proper rated jack stands, and use them in pairs, if at all possible (one on each side of the car).

There are beams down both sides. They start at the front where they turn upward into the engine compartment and go rearward all the way to the rear frame rails. This is where I lift one with my two post lift and used to use a floor jack or jackstands at these points.
