Location of Heater Fan Regulator 140 chassis

I have orderred a heater/climate control regulator and wonder if anyone who knows or has a component location manual could tell me where it is located in the car and how to get to it. Thanks for the help in advance..Ed

Its under the hood on the right top side(on the side of the windshield) of the engine compartment.

Here's a little more detail. Open the hood. Remove the plastic air plenum (hollow box) that goes across the car just at the base of the windshield. Several philips screws hold it down. You may have to remove one or two vacuum lines on the passenger side. Move the plenum aside. You'll see the filter for the outside air directly below. Simply lift it out. If you haven't changed this in the last year, change it now.
Directly beneath the filter, you'll see the top of the blower and the regulator. If you do a search, you'll find pix of this.
Don't forget to use heat conductive paste between the regulator and the blower.
Hope this helps.

What made you decide that it is the regulator? check the fan to make sure it is not seized up and spins freely. If not try and but some oil on the bearing. You will find that it is a pricey item and most come with a regulator installed. If you just get the motor it is hard to get the blade off the shaft!

I know it's not the fan because it works well but only at an intermediate speed. I'm not getting enough volume for these 95 deg. days.
