brake light fuse blows - HELP 98 C230
I don't know why this post didn't appear earlier.
The fuse for the brake lights blows when I step on the brakes on my 98 C230. Immediately after that, the radiator fan goes on and stays on while the motor is running. The fuse is number 19 (10 amp) and it also handles the instrument cluster. When I replace a fuse and start the car, the check engine light comes on and as soon as I step on the brakes, the fuse blows. Last week the same thing happened but after the 3rd time I replaced the fuse, it was okay for about a week. Any suggestions other than buying a Toyota? |

Before you buy a Totota check your brake light connects or remove all three brake light bulbs put a new fuse if is ok check all connects at bulb sockets if not ok then you may have bad brake light switch.
