Recirc light blinks on -- what does it mean
My climate control unit flashes on/off, causing the blower fan to be interrupted. When this happens, the recirc light quickly blinks on. What is going on?
|
 Please help me, I am so frustrated.
After I replace the evap temp sensor, all readings are ok and there are no error codes. Blower works, aux fan works, blower regulator was also replaced. I even changed the power supply to the Climate Control unit with current from the cigarette lighter and I still have the same problem. The CCU flickers on and off. When it happens the recirc light quickly flashes on and the settings go back to those when the car was first started (i.e. it resets itself). If happens much more when it is really hot, it also happens almost always when coming to a sudden stop. ANY, ANY clues? |
Check for low bat voltage..

Battery shows around 13.2 on the unit. Could a malfunctionning voltage regulator cause this? Thanks...
Of course, if the voltage suddenly dropped, the CCU would reset and I would not see it. |
