automatic window not working properly
 

98 mcds 280C. Right front window does not operate properly. When pushing the switch down window only goes up part way and stops, Have to push switch again and window goes up a bit more, etc, etc.

You may have to re-sync the windows, if the battery was disconnected there is a process to have them "re-learn" where the stop points are. Check your owner's manual but I believe if you lower the window and hold the button for a few seconds until it clicks, then do the same when you raise the window it will reset.

pinch protection may also be screwed up. if its binding at all its going to stop the window.
