Front end rebuild

All the rubber parts on the front end of my 380SL are rotten and I want to rebuild the total front end. I am not sure of all the parts needed. Here is what I am thinking so far. Subframe mounts - Drag Link - Steering Damper - Idler Arm repair kit - Bushing Kit for sway bar - Two tie rods - Two ball joints. What am I leaving out if anything or any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Just did mine...

Rayson,
Just did a complete rebuild on my '82 380SL. I did upper and lower control arm bushings, both ball joints, front subframe mounts, both tie rods, center drag link, steering damper, overhauled my front brake calipers, and installed h/d bilstiens and stainless steel brake lines. I also installed B&G lowering springs which lowered the car less than an inch, and are progressively wound for less dive and sag. You will be really impressed with the difference--mine is like a new car. I'm now just trying to find the time to do the rear suspension, and get it aligned. I'll be glad to share my experiences with you if you get stuck. I did everything in my garage with four jackstands and a floor jack. Nothing but hand tools required if you're clever. I'd really like to hear about your 380->560 conversion, as I am considering the same swap myself. Good luck and God bless!

Thanks for reply. I can not help you too much with the engine conversion as it was already done when I got the car. It does have a 86 560 SEC engine and transmission. I believe if you do a search on the net though you will get a lot of info.
