blower motor rubs on turning right
Sometimes my blower motor for the HVAC makes a rubbing sound when I make a sharp right turn. Any ideas why?

If a motor bearing is failing/failed, then the centrifigual force of a turn will shift the weight of the motor shaft, causing the noise. In some blowers, braking will result in the same sound due to the deceleration forces.

I took the blower out 6 month ago and put a drop of oil on both sides of the motor so the bearings should not be dry? |
