good alignment shop in NJ

I've searched through the shops forum but didnt really find a recommendation for a good alignment shop in NJ. Other than the dealer, could someone recommend a good place to have the W124 aligned ?
thnx.

I called german car shop and their prices are 80/hr which is almost what the dealer charges as well. They don't have an alignment machine either...
when did you visit that shop ?

Freedman or Freeman tire (Sp?) in Edison.

They are the allignment masters for BMW. The guy actively races 2 BMW's and KNOWS his stuff, at least in the bmw world. He was the only one who knew enough to load the car with weights to get the allignment to spec (even the dealer doesnt do this claiming it doesnt really matter). He was also one of the few that knew enough to loosen the rear control arm to adjust camber and caster in the rear. (BMW's theoretically only have factory adjustable toe).

Give them a call, and see if they will do an MB. He is busy so you may have to make an appt, but if he agrees to do it, you will be happy.

Take care,

George

That's strange. I was there less than a month ago. I had called around for alignments and the dealer scared me off by estimating 150 to 500 depending on how long it would take them. I called shops asking if they had the 'toe bar' and German Car said they did. made an app. and they even gave me a before/after printout.

GC quoted 80 and that's what they charged.
