2 Problems 1 confused benz owner
 

Hello,
I have 2 problems with my 87 300E . First the car seems to want to stall after a cold start only after I have driven a quarter mile or so. If extra gas is given and fight through the shudder it runs fine all the way. Second the ac fan stopped blowing completely. It will however just come on occassionally but most of the time does not. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

For the stalling problem, lift the passenger side front carpet and check the )2 sensor connection. It will sometimes get corroded from leaking water.

For the blower fan it is likely worn out motor brushes if it is very intermittent. If it runs after startup and then shuts down and won't restart until the ignition switch has been cycled, then it could be a slipping belt.

u need a blower and a blower resistor most likely.the motor is starting to seize up and the resistor is starting to burn out .resistor is on top of blower wich is under wiper motor.bossible push button unit.but we replace a lot of resistors .with the stalling ,it could be a lot of things plugs ,cap rotor fuel preasure,eha,air flow plate?lot of things
