a/c compressor stays engeged
i have a 95 c220 and the ac compressor stays engaged could the relay be stuck open (where is the relay located).

So why do you not want the compressor engaged? That is the only way that it can drive the refrigeration process.

How about a little more info.. like , when the a/c panel is off???
That would indicate a relay stuck closed , not open. |

The a/c control is off and the compressor still engages. i know the clutch is not stuck becaus when i turn the car off the compressor stops before the belt and pulley stops.

What part of the a/c control are you turning off? Can you please be specific? When you go to the doctor, do you just tell him you're sick or do you help him with more detailed information?
We want to help, but we need more to go on? Are you turning the temp dial, pushing a fan button or turning off the entire climate control system? Have a great day, |
