1979 450SLC rough idle

I have a 1979 450SLC which was in storage for about 1-1/2 yrs. The car was runnning well as first but has deteriorated. It is now running very rough at low RPMs. I have removed and cleaned the gas tank, replaced the fuel pump, changed the fuel filter and air filter, changed the plugs and dist. cap/rotor (wires look good and are providing charge to the plugs, replaced (what I believe is) the electronic control unit, adjusted the timing, replace all seals and plastic caps at the top of the fuel injectors, and fixed all vacuum lines where I found trouble. There is no unusual smoke from the exhaust. I am not sure how hot the car should be running, and though it does run to the high end of the range. Coolant and thermo are ok.

I am preparing to check the vacuum advance on the dist. and then the pressure of the fuel injectors at the point where the aluminum line screws in. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.
