1994 C280 A/C Center Vents not operating
 

The center vents do not operate. Placing it into EC mode does not effect it. I've checked earlier posts and used their suggestions about examining the vacuum lines. They all look ok. I did notice the green/white stripe vacuum line connected to 1 of 2 vent pumps(I don't know their correct name) located behind the center vents next to the glove box, did not feel like there was any vacuum on it. I traced the line to a vacuum line junction box behind the glove box. Is there anything I can do to test the vent pumps (like switching lines)?

Does anyone know the correct names of the vent pumps or the junction box or how they work?


Other than the center vents not operating, the A/C is working fine.
