OK my car is getting a bit old, and the trim is starting to take a nose dive. I am finding that a lot of those little plastic clips which holds it on are breaking and the trim is flapping in the wind.
What is the easiest way to fix this? Do I have to remove the whole inside door panel to get to these clips? Can I get these clips from Mercedes or any other oem? Seems like it might be a lot of work to fix this. Thanx, its a 87 300E. |
You can buy new ones
Doc, You can renew the clips for the trim. They are very inexpensive and easy to replace. The most common item that comes loose is the trim strip on the lower edge of the doors. Go to a Benz dealer. Let me know if you have further questions..
