C220 Belt Shock
 
What exactly does the belt shock do? Is it some sort of automatic belt tensioner? I did a search on my engine rattle, and it looks like this is the culprit.

I havent had any other problems with my engine or accessories, but the noise is annoying. The rattle only occurs with a load on the engine (ie ac compressor).
Could I get a procedure on how to fix the issue? thanks a lot!
