needed: Good transmission parts source!

I'm rebuilding a 722.303 trans. I'll need a general overhaul kit, maybe spacers, bands, bushings. I'm finding info very sparse and thinking I'm just not looking in the right places. The sponsor of this website is certainly one option, although their selection seems a little limited and their prices sort of high. Suggestions? I need to order some parts pretty soon. Thanks!

Talking Contact Phil

Did you contact Phil at Fastlane or just look at the online catalog?
The online catalog only represents a fraction of the parts Phil can get for you.

check this thread

i would like to rebuild my transmission myself may be of some help. I looked into doing my transmission and found the investment in tools was more than I was willing to spend. I did go as far as tearing down a transmission using a vertical band saw in place of some special tools it is an amazing piece of equipment one member of this board did rebuild his transmission successfully I will try to find the thread it was some time ago here is a link to a company that you can purchase the parts from http://www.europeantransmissions.com/europeanhomepage.html
There is also a company in San Jose that sells rebuilds kits and technical information I don’t recall there name but my son should I will ask him when he gets home.

Thanks Dave. Looks like europeantransmissions has a good price on their banner rebuild kit, I'll probably start there.

If you run into a dead end

Be sure to get all the latest rev parts in the kit and not an old stock kit and a site you might find useful is http://www.atsgmiami.com/ If they don’t workout PM me I know of other good Euro transmission places I just need to hunt them down on my computer.
