Relearn/adaptation procedure after replacing EA?
(Electronic Accelerator) on a '94 C280?
Hi folks, I just replaced my EA/CC/ISC unit and need to know if there is a specific sequence that needs to be followed to allow the EA to relearn idle and full throttle positions, or is it simple 'plug and play'? I've seen the procedure for a 120 engine's EA but not sure if that applies to the 104's unit. Further, I was wondering if I need to reset/reactivate the HFM-SFI control module after this repair. I've seen the procedure in the archives using a pulse counter. Thanks in advance!

Key on Engine off for 3-5 minutes & then key off for 1 minute. The throttle stop should be learned at that point!
