Any Mechanics in the DC area?

I am considering buying a used Mercedes, either a 1992 300e 4matic or a 1993 400e, and I was wondering if anyone on this message board is a mechanic or does mechanical work on Mercedes. If I get one of these cars it would be nice to have someone trustworthy and knowledgeable to work on the car as to avoid the high prices of a dealer.

If anyone one is a mechanic or knows of one please post a reply and let me know. Thanks.

Just look under "Good MB Shops" on this site -- a parallel forum to this "Tech Help" forum

Mitch Carr's in Kensington, MD

A great place - honest and reasonable. I have them do all my work that I can't get around to doing myself.

Mitch Carr's number is 301-493-9460.

Right next to a MARC train line that takes you to Union Station or a 3 minute bus ride to the Metro.

Ask for Hal the manager.
