W140 Air conditioner
The AC on my 1992 300SD (W140) is blowing hard, working very well, but no cold air. HOw could I determine if this was an Evaporator problem ? Thanks.
Also, could someone tell me if this one uses the old R12 or the newer R134 ? Thanks

You're getting the cart in front of the horse here. You need to first see if it is a low refrigerant problem before you start looking for the leak.
You can look at the fittings and see if it is 134 or 12. It is probably 134. You will need to connect manifold gauges and check pressures before you do anything else. Post the pressures here and we can go from there. Good luck, |

It is 134
All 140 used R134.
