The Jacobs Ignition will perform as advertised or they refund your money. As for specs on performance increases with added intake volume, no I don't have such informatin. It works for me. If it didn't help, it would be easier to remove than to install. Happy Trails Beep Beep from Houston.

Alright Donald
Thanx for the info. The Jacobs data I just wanted a personal opinion 2, as well as the air induction. Remember Blue Igniters spark plugs. My friend put this on his car and he felt no change on any performance whatsoever. That is why I was asking. It is a naturally aspirated car as well. It is just that I have tried the cold air induction on 3 cars. Two of the cars were for track racing. It did not do anything, so I was curious as to how it performed. I have done similar things with a turbo car, but the effects are much more effective. I actually did notice sonething. I wasn't trying to ask for data from a dynometer, just a personal observation (unscientific), of how much of an impact it improved the car and what the effects were specifically, ex: torque, response, etc. I do get the message however that you felt something to make it worthwhile.

I don't know what cool air induction you had, but there has never been an application where under the hood air intake being replaced by cooler air from where ever has not mad significant power increases from the higher density cooler air. You continue using the OEM filtration and you will have no problems with your engine. As to Blue ?. It comes full circle with spark plugs. What is the latest and greatest to day was here before but with a new name. I recall when Chrysler Hemi engines had the best of the best. AutoLite Resistors gapped at a whoaping 0.035 inches. That was around 1951. Made thier engines really perform. The real reason was for radio noise suppresion. I still prefer copper cored plugs. Happy Trails Beep Beep from Houston.

As for the air filtration. Always had to change it out, with K&N cone and foam filters. I understand, but I just haven't really seen much sucess with it, along with other people I have talked to. However, I just wanted an opinion, b/c some cars react to it differently than others. The same goes for the ignition. I just wanted to know specifically it improved on. All I heard was that it works, but what exactly worked? The air filters sound really nice when you rev and the wires look nice, but when you say it improved performance. It is so broad. Do you see what I am saying? Anyways, thanx for the input.

You asked,"if I see what your saying"? Honestly no I don't. I don't believe there is one average auto owner who has added something different than OEM to his machine that has the specifics as to the actual improvement made. It's the JOY of doing it. I tell you this, 0-60mph in 7.9-8.?, 27-29mpg at 70+mph with A/C, strong torque sensation, improved starting, and smoother idle. I don't know where or when to stop. If I got just one of these improvements I would be tickeled pink. If you too got one of these improvements I would be glad for you. I was taught as a young boy, "Don't let anyone steel your JOY".
Happy Trails Beep Beep from Houston.

Donald, I am not upset with you or trying to crash your party. I was just curious to see your improvements. I am overjoyed for you. I just wanted to know more about your improvements specifically. That is what part of this Forum is for. Is it not, to share info.? I didn't know it was as in-depth as you say it is. I thought it was only one or two improvements, not a big list. Thanks, Donald for sharing that with me. I like your pics of your engine. The paint looks good. Now, I think you understand.
