Inner airflow meter mount for 190e 2.3..
 

I'm trying to locate an online source for an airflow meter mount for my 1991 190e 2.3.

The outer two (next to the throttle linkage) appear to be the same as the air cleaner housing mounts. However, the inner one (near the valve cover) has a longer stud on it.

The dealer wants $12 for it and it's special order. This seems a little excessive, as the air cleaner mounts are less than $5.. Anyway, what's worse, is that the dealer is located nearly an hours drive each way, from where I live, so I'll also burn nearly that amount in fuel.

Of course, I've already checked Fastlane and couldn't locate one.. Any suggestions??

did you search fastlane by part number or application?
there are a total of 3 buffers needed, you need 2 of mercedes part number 116-988-05-11 and one of 102-988-00-11. if you look at fast lane they have the 116-988-05-11 it is available for $4.10 if you need the 102-988-00-11 ask phil for a guote, i am sure he can get it for you. you shoulg get the correct ones for your car,

Call Phil at Fastlane and describe what you are looking for. He can e-mail you the appropriate page from the parts manual exploded views. Pick out the parts you need and he'll tell you if he can get them. Lots available that is not in the on-line catalog.

Thanks for the replies. I did do a search by application, but not by part number, since I did not notice any standard merc part number on it. I could of missed it I suppose.. Thanks Ray for the part number!

Either way, it appears that it's not available through the website, so I'll give Phill a call.
