what is the name of the part that connects the transmission to the drive shaft???

it is called a flex disk, you mean the rubber part?

yes, that would be

the one, mine is shredded, it is the flex disk, guess i'll have to wait until monday for that part.

i did receive one email with the address of your shop

on genesee or something? but I'm just not in the position to pay a shop to work on my car right now, that's why i'm here trying to get a clue. but thank you. I'll be by one day, i just don't have the funds yet.

You need to get a nice bullet proof Toyota and save your money until you can afford a Mercedes.

yes i agree, but this car was sort of a gift.

and your right i can not afford a mercedes, nice cars, just very expensive......
