380SE Aux fan relay? Location?
My aux fan is not running. Checked the switch in the T-stat housing. OK.
Checked the fan motor. OK. Fuse OK. Is there a relay? Where? I've loaned out my MB elect manual and the harness is tough to chase without hacking. Car is an '85 380SE euro. Last edited by Whiskeydan; 08-17-2005 at 04:37 PM. |

Usually the relays are located near or in the fuse box... I don't know what year your car is so I can't look it up.

@$#%! RATS!
I Found a chewed wire in the aux fan circuit. I found the Relay in #2 position from left to right of the three rows of relays as viewed from the front of the car, row nearest front. Part #001 542 02 19 Do wires taste good to vermin? I've had this car stored at my ranch for a few months. I'd been better off loaning it out to the homeless.
